First place I will look is the connections and wiring I did when I added an Admore Light Bar and extra lighting for my Givi box. I'll also look at the turn-signal connections. Ray is right that not waterproofing them is stupid. It's dumbfounding what shortcuts manufactures will take on a high-end motorcycle to shave a little cost. Do they really believe that an FJR buyer will spend $18,200 but walk away from $18,250?
