Re: Tackform Mounts
A lot better than the xgrip. I prefer slipgrip, but this is a good addition to the field.

Re: Tackform Mounts
Interesting factoid: Built in Chicago. Must be why they are stressing it is BULLETPROOF! Lol
Looks like a good product.

I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

Re: Tackform Mounts
I'm on my second generation of this magnetic mount. Stab the phone onto the mount and wiggle it to make sure it's mated tightly; twist to instantly remove. Over 50,000 miles with no failures.
Second generation because the phone case finally wore out; got a new case and new magnet for the phone. (I use the multipurpose mount, screwed onto my dashboard shelf.)

I had over 50K miles on my x-mounts with no failures. But it only takes one time.Uncle Hud wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 1:50 pm I'm on my second generation of this magnetic mount.
