Re: The Official 2021 Calendar Contest
Unfortunately I had to go through and pull some old ones due to COVID.
I had one I really like but it is not an FJR it an ST1300 on our Alaska trip going up the Dalton ( I was riding sweep and the other 2 FJRs were leading the group)
or this one (but they are in December for 2020)

Re: The Official 2021 Calendar Contest
I think it would be nice to post more than 2 photos. There are only 12 months for photos available and I know we all want to look at the best out there when we flip month to month.
I also recommended to Mr. Extreme that we make it a "Blind" vote. Coming from years in the medical field dealing with clinical trials they are most always Blinded to take away any bias from the outcome.
So my recommendation to make this the best it can be and as fair as possible is to allow for more than 2 photos and do not include the name of the photographer.

Re: The Official 2021 Calendar Contest
I like taking away the name of the submitter. I only suggested for more than two so we can get enough to make a decent vote for a calendar. You know, if we are having a hard time getting enough entries.Blueridgerider wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 12:39 pm So my recommendation to make this the best it can be and as fair as possible is to allow for more than 2 photos and do not include the name of the photographer.

Just a thought and not trying to complicate things for Tim, but how about showing all submissions that didn't make the cut in tile format on a final page.

Couple of shots finally sent. A public shout-out to TIm for doing this each year. I greatly enjoy seeing the end results every time I head to the bike to suit up.

Re: The Official 2021 Calendar Contest
Well, I got mine in.
2020 pickins were a little slim.
Pix from my own back yard, literally?
Nah
New year pix full of preCovid optomisim
Nah, not 2020 enough
From previous years?
Nah, don't know what Wheat is asking Griff here, or if it's legal in Georgia
Nah, some goober parked his bike in this shot and stood there gawking
2020 Fall?
Nah, subject matter could't ride slow enough to get photographed without dabbing
We'll see what's out there when it's time to vote I guess

Re: The Official 2021 Calendar Contest
First - thank you, Tim, for putting this together again this year. I have 4 of the calendars hanging in my home office, and that is the motivation that keeps me going day in / day out...
Now, down to (funny) business...
Closing in on it folks - do we really want more pictures of Tim's missing fasteners in the calendar galley?
This one from drone footage:
started here:
and framed up this one (I'll crop some of the parking lot out of the bottom):
But we can always just put this on the cover:

Wayne,
I'd leave the parking lot in -- as you have it a few posts above. Makes the realistic mural stand out all the better.

They all know how much practice you've had plugging a tire, so they were just there enjoying the show! I'm sure Petey was just full of helpful suggestions!!
