2025 Donations to support FJRiders.com
2025 Donations to support FJRiders.com
Many have asked about a more direct path to support the operationing costs of the site. I've had the donation item turned off in the storefront this past year because work and family commitments have kept me from keeping the site software updated. Keeping the various plugins current and functioning isn't difficult, it just requires time that's has been in short supply.
Here is a break down of 2024's costs and what 2025 will look like. During 2024, the calendar project contributed $182 towards the costs, donations accounted for another $140. Total costs for hosting the site and domain registration was $458. Minus the donations, there was $136 of out of pocket cost for me.
The 2025 hosting cost is the same at this point, unless I find a coupon or discount code / program to leverage with the hosting company. Domain registration costs appear to be the same as well. The main hosting fee is due in April 25th, 2025.
I'm not looking for thousands of paso's here, just enough to cover the costs. I hope to be able to due a run of engraved tumblers this year that will be connected to the EOM event. Any amount is appreciated and welcomed. This has never been easy for me - asking for help - please don't take my lack of action on this topic as anything other than that - as Annette will attest to; I tend to be a bit obstinate...
What I am most proud of here, is that this group of individuals continues to be supportive in times of need, encouraging in times of doubt and one giant, if not dysfunctional, family. We've used this site to share in the grieve that accompanys the loss of loved ones, those we care about - JWilly, 1911, others.
Here is the link to my e-commerce storefront site and the donation item (Here). Checkout is via Paypal. If you wish to donate via another media, please feel free to PM me for a mailing address.
Thank you for your continued support.

Donation done.
I, for one, don’t want to think of not having this forum. This is where some of the very best people that I have ever met. I usually visit everyday, but don’t always comment, because reading what others post is just pure entertainment.
I truly appreciate what Wayne and others do, to keep this place up and running…thank you!

Re: 2025 Donations to support FJRiders.com
Wayne, I'm gonna hold off a bit.... Paypal will rape me and the exchange rate is C$1.45 right now.... so when I get US funds built up in my account I'll make a donation, or next time I see you I might just have cash in my pocket. As I mentioned in the calendar thread, I got enough shirts, mugs, and other merch over the years, and would rather just donate directly. My t-shirt collection isn't as big as Geek's I'm guessin', but I got too many.
I'd rather see you on the plus side than have to dig into your own pocket, so I'm happy you got bumped on the head with a 2x4 and....... thanks for all you do.
