It's that time of the year and I'll once again be running a calendar contest. The window for submitting images is now open! Please read ALL of the rules below before submitting a photo. You can see photos that have already been submitted here: https://www.fjriders.com/calendar-contest/ It sometimes takes me a couple days to get a submitted photo posted so be patient.

This contest benefits the forum a great deal and is our primary fundraiser for the server costs. The calendar is only as good as the participation from our members so please consider submitting an image.

Good luck!

Calendar Contest

CONTEST RULES
1) Submission deadline is November 15th. Voting will begin after that and run to the end of the month

2) This is an FJRiders member calendar, not specifically an FJR calendar. You may see pictures of other bikes. Award stars based on what you feel is calendar worthy and what criteria you feel an entry should meet.

3) Submissions are sent to motorcyclecalendar@gmail.com and make sure to send the high resolution picture. Be sure to include your username and info about the pictures. Two submission per member. Pick your best ones!

4) Photos must be you own. No paid photography. You may submit another image if you do not like how your image is performing. All votes for your image are reset.

5) Anyone submitting a photo automatically grants permission for the FJRiders.com staff to use the photo in any FJRiders.com or FJR-related applications.

6) I am not turning the calendar sideways for a month. Photos must be in landscape orientation. They will be resized and cropped to a 2300px x 1800px resolution. Anything that doesn't meet or exceed that resolution will be rejected as a submission.

7) Vote fairly! This contest is meant to be fun and a benefit to our FJR community. Any attempts to sabotage the contest will result in disqualification and/or ban from the contest and forum.

8) Voting is a 5 star system. Click on the highest star you want to award. Rankings are a combination of rating and number of votes. The voting window will open November 15th.

Wait, I guess I should make time to stop and take pictures rather than pulling crappy screen shots from my gopro...

Yeah - this will have to wait until I get home. I've got a lot of good photos this year to pick from.

So.... on the subject of "first world problems", I've sifted through my 2024 archives. Just for my own understanding (rules not withstanding), I've only considered submitting "FJR pictures", leaving the DR650 out.

1st cut revels 27 choices. You've read that right - by my own "standards", I have 27 pictures that I feel are "calander worthy" from my FJR riding in 2024.

If that doesn't say "It's been one helluva year", nothing does.
