Vic posted this on FB - helping cast the net a bit wider - can anyone here assist?

I’m reaching out to all the FJR owners in the Texas area in around Tyler. There’s a sweet 2007 AE for sale calling my name. If anyone in the area would be so kind as to take a look at the condition, I’d be most appreciative. A good look at the oil drain plug would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Didn’t he buy one 3 years ago? Did something happen to that one?

Well, it's a bit of a trip for me, but wondering what is to be gained by looking at the oil drain plug?? In any case, you can somewhat judge condition from the outside, but there's always a significant list of things to check when you get home. You're gonna spend some money on those items no matter what.
What one could do is pull the clutch and brake reservoir covers off..... if the clutch fluid is black, then it's been ignored. Oh wait, the reservoir is hidden behind the side cover on an AE. Well, check the brake fluid then...
Basically, don't worry too much, nothing that can't be brought up to date on an FJR..... if cosmetically good and the price is right, bring 'er home.

Maybe he's vying to be the AE ScooterG.

Taken out of context, THAT phrase has many, many practical applications.
