Miss T is simply the BEST. Thank you for a great rally. Know that we all appreciate your effort(s) to keep this community viable and vibrant.
I often get lost in my little orbital life circle, being the introvert and shy person I am. Sometimes, often lately, it's difficult to break the bonds of San Luis Obispo county. Sometimes, I actually cross the 'border' into Monterey county. That's an adventurous day.
Given that, this was my first 'big' ride, ha ha, in 2, 3 years? And yes, there is, as Paul Harvey used to say, a Page 2 to that backdrop.
Day 1 was kinda coolio in a sadistic way. At 120 miles in, pain everywhere. Used to be a guy on fjrforum, PainMan. Beginning to understand his handle. I've ridden long enough, over 1 million miles now, to know 'this too shall pass' and pressed on.
Traffic. It's been *forever* since I split, uh, err, 'shared' lanes. Glad to say I still got the skills. But not like the Bay Area locals. They rip. I judge, split quickly, but not insanely. If it's too close, like those big pickup trucks w wide mirrors, I'll tuck in and bide time.
BTW, Kali drivers, on the 98% part, are GREAT. Numerous times, driver spotted the Sevinas and Ericas, then move left to allow plenty of room. I always wave or toot my horns. TootToot.
Seems like RR's are the most ignored posts of forums these days.. Don't know why.
Good thing I make these RR's for me, LOL. Someday when I'm pissing in my panties waiting for my weekly shower maybe I'll see a RR and appreciate 'the good ol' days'..
If you made the rally, and want to see pics and/or yet another stupid ass boring as f@$k video, have at it. https://candybuttorg.ipage.com/cba/node/1324.
