Well, it's all over now except for the lingering Covid.
Doug, Marty and George invaded the Hondarosa, riding, of all things, Tenere's and not FJR's.
My how things have changed. My guess is most riders on this FJR forum have another bike other than the superior FJR, and some lowlife scumbags no longer even ride an FJR.
Such was the case here. Tres Tenere's. At least they are Yamahas and not inferior BMW GS bikes.. JSNS....
A couple of days prior to TT arrival, I picked up an ear ache. No big deal, but it travelled from right to left to both ears, followed by low level headache. No fever, cough, lack of smell (I ALWAYS smell stinky!) so no thought of being a Covid Boi.
The gang arrived, we partied hearty until 20:30, drank a Coors Light (Fuckin' Near Water!) ate the 'Short Horn' in beautiful downtown Creston.
Rode a nice loop, but I cut the second half of the loop off the agenda, as the TT riders were complaining about the long and arduous ride the day before.
The basic loop was Creston via Rossi's Driveway to Santa Margarita for breakfast, 58 East to Bitterwater Rd, 41 to Parkfield turn off, San Miguel, San Marcos Road, Vineyard to 46 west to Old Creek Road to Morro Bay then home again.
Too much trouble to relink video and pics, so here ya go, a relink to the CandyButtAssociation

Been to some of those places back in 2011.
I followed these travels as they were happening, and it made me really happy that my friend was out of the f@$king office and riding! A Yamaha...and not a douchebag BMW.
EDIT: Marty's a feckin KLIM model. I bet he gets their shit for free!

For a second there I thought George kicked the dog out of frustration with the Sena pairing!

Hopefully, you won't be off doing Nukiework while Im at the Rock next time. Norcal is first though...but I did make a vow not to miss 33 like I did last time.

I know I talk a lot of shit and fk around a lot, but I cannot express how much this ride meant to me. From Doug picking up the bike for me, to George allowing me to interrupt his "Doug & George" time, to Don & Shauna actually letting me on their property. The whole thing felt like home.
That's it, that's all you get, I got something in my eye.... fk off.

...and THAT would be the reason I picked on you so much in the 'balloons'..
Seemed to me you gained 3 life years in 3 days..
...then you go and piss it off by going back to work?
Phookin' kids...
Hey, you didn't leave any SkooterBoogers in the toy hauler did you?

If I told you where they are, they wouldn’t be true SkooterBoogers.

...I think it was more like the dog biting my leg all while barking, "would you three get your pairing $h!t together"!

Thanks again for the hospitality DC! Great route and riding around your 'hood...especially liked sampling the mighty 690. Too bad you didn't catch pics of me clearing the tabletop!

Real nice DC and Shauna, thanks for letting us invade the Honderosa.
The whole deal worked out nicely from picking up Highlanders S10 for Marty to having the regional Tenere expert George on hand while preparing for the ride providing his excellent know how. The weather cooperated, the roads were dry and the hills were green. It was good to be riding with friends while exploring the backroads on the perfect bike for the mission.
We had a blast and didn't even catch the vid, clean livin' baby!
