FJRiders Logo Tumblers - Fund Raising Effort
Donation / Fund raiser idea - RTIC Tumblers
Update.
Tumblers will be from RTIC. They have 20oz, 30oz, and 40oz sizes, with multiple colors within each size.
Forum member 'Festus" has gratiously offered to assist with this project - a set of tumblers is on the way to him for a test run. Once we sort out details, we'll update with details on sizes, color and delivery timeframe (most likely delivery at EOM Flatwoods as the primary, and separate shipments at cost of postage afterwards).
Huge thank you to Festus for offer his expertise to assist.
Show of hands, who would be interested in one or 2 of these?
Photo of sample group:
UPDATE - payment information for round 1. Please read entire post, then read it again. If you have questions, please PM me.
Round 1 Tumblers:
The list below is the list of members who have committed to buying one of the Tumblers from round 1. Round 1 are the tumblers that I purchased up front and are currently with Festus for engraving. There will be a "Round 2" for those who have expressed interest in buying a Tumbler - more details on that at the end. If you committed to a tumbler and have have had a change of heart, please PM me - no worries, things happen. IF you want to change how / when you will get your tumbler (EOM vs shipped), please PM me.
PAYMENT. If you are on the list below, I am going to ask that your provide payment via this item in the store front (FJRiders.com Donation). Please ensure you put a note that this is for a Tumbler in the check out notes. I will update the list at the end of each day. Tumblers are $25 each. Shipping for those unable to pick up at EOM is $15. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, which ever offers the best deal to your zipcode at the time of shipping (actual cost is between $12-16 depending on zipcode).
Round 2 Order.
Round 2 of the tumbler project will work as follows:
I am adding the item to the store; it will have 20oz in red and graphite and 30oz in black, slate blue, red and graphite options for $25 each. These will be available for pre-order with delivery planned for EOM in Flatwoods, WV (September 2022). For those not attending EOM, a separate "Tumbler Shipping" item will be in the store ($15) and will need to be 'purchases' with the Tumbler. This is the only way I can accomplish 2 shipping methods (pick up and flat rate) on one item in the store without buying additional plugins.
This item will be posted in the store and linked here once I have it set up - most likely by the end of the week. IF an order is placed for a specific color / size and that size / color is not in stock at RTIC's website when I place the order, I will contact you and work out either an alternate color & size or refund your purchase.
Thank you for your support!

Although I likely won't need plush shipping because I intend to be at EOM this year...it's nice to know that it's an option.extrememarine wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 8:52 am There is a minimum order of 24. In order to net $5 per cup for the forum fund, sell price would be $30 plush shipping.

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - gaging interest
What's the price difference between a 20oz and a 30oz? Do you need 24 of each or can you mix and match sizes?
Bigger is better, but I'm in for 1 regardless.

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - gaging interest
Tuning fork is trademarked and without Yamaha's permission shouldn't really be used. Some companies don't care, some care a lot. I'm not sure where Yamaha is on the scale but I have heard of them going after some people but I forgot what they were selling or the platform (ebay, etc.). Harley will shut your business down and take everything you own, other's don't care. That's a judgement call for the boss man.

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - gaging interest
What Festus said - it is all related to trademark, so the tuning fork logo would be outside of what we can do.
There is a line art image of my avatar as well that we may be able to incorporate, but I'm still at the crawl stage of this project...

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - gaging interest
Quick update.
I purchased 20 tumblers for a first wave of this project. Based on conversation thus far, I'm fairly confident that I won't get left with 15 of these in my kitchen cupboard.
The image below is a mock up, not actual finished product. Once a finished product is available, I'll share an image.
I'm working up pricing; shipping is the unknown at this point but I will work that up as soon as possible. If we do a second batch of these, it will be set up and connected to the EOM event where the Tumblers are available for pickup at the event.
I kept the colors basic (and was limited somewhat to what RTIC had in stock) - Black, Graphite, Blue, Red.
