A Rare December Ride through the Bighorns!

It is not often that we get 60-70 degree days in December. It is even rarer that they get these days across the Bighorns!
I sought company for this ride but the Black Hills BMW Riders are Coffee Drinkers and not Riders!
580 miles in 9 hours, two stops:
Sheridan WY for Gas, Coffee, and a cookie.
Buffalo WY for Gas, Coffee, and a Bahama Mama Hot Dog!
Very little traffic all day, I did see three other bikes going East on US 14 near Burgess Junction, one Wing and two V-Twins of one ilk or another, they all waved. Though warm in some spots, the temps up high were generally in the low 40's.
The coldest spot was on I-90 this morning between Sundance and Moorcroft WY, I saw 34F as I crossed Inyan Kara Creek.
Thank God for heated Jackets and hand warmers!
Freya has just a bit of salt on her from some wet patches on the high bits of US 16 coming home.
It will be warm again tomorrow, hoping for a ride and then a thorough bath for Freya before beginning the winter maintenance period.
