The Official 2021 Calendar Contest

I'm trying something different this year. I'm collecting photos first. I'll open up voting after I have the new voting page created. The idea is to have more of an even vote count for each photo. I'm looking forward to seeing what the submissions are going to be. Good Luck!
Calendar Contest
CONTEST RULES
1) Submission deadline is November 10th. Assuming I have my act together, I hope to open up the voting on a couple days later and let it run until November 29th. The calendar should be ready to order during the first week of December.
2) This is an FJRiders member calendar, not specifically an FJR calendar. You may see pictures of other bikes. Award stars based on what you feel is calendar worthy and what criteria you feel an entry should meet.
3) Submissions are sent to
motorcyclecalendar@gmail.com and make sure to send the high resolution picture. Be sure to include your username and info about the pictures. Two submission per member. Pick your best ones!
4) Photos must be you own. No paid photography. You may submit another image if you do not like how your image is performing. All votes for your image are reset.
5) Anyone submitting a photo automatically grants permission for the FJRiders.com staff to use the photo in any FJRiders.com or FJR-related applications.
6) I am not turning the calendar sideways for a month. Photos must be in
landscape orientation. They will be resized and cropped to a 2300px x 1800px resolution.
7) Vote fairly! This contest is meant to be fun and a benefit to our FJR community. Any attempts to sabotage the contest will result in disqualification and/or ban from the contest and forum.
8) Voting is a 5 star system. Click on the highest star you want to award. Rankings are a combination of rating and number of votes.

So will there be a deadline to submit a photo, then all submissions get posted for the same voting period?

At least you did not get banned, locked out, and have to quote what rule you broke to get your posting privileges back. LOL

Should be incentive to submit anything you've got.

He was just giving examples of some fine FJR photos not off in some distant land, showing that you, too, have no excuse for not submitting to the TimDog.
Me, I have nothing but dreams from yesteryear...

I know where this was shot. In the 80s and 90s when Louanne and I were newly married and when we had little kids, we would have a cheap vacation on Louanne's parent's dime up at the family's Michigan Century farm in New Era, MI every summer, then later at a cottage on Stony Lake, MI. Just north of there is Silver Lake and the Silver Lake sand dunes. Awesome place.
That photo is on a road on the north side of Silver Lake as it dead ends into the dunes. They have to plow that culdesac every year to keep the sand dunes from covering up the road. Adjacent cottages, some expensive, have not been so fortunate and have been covered up.
Love me some Mac Woods dune rides, and some Whippy Dip soft serve ice cream after time on the lake and arcade with the little kids.
