I need to add an outlet / plug for heated gear for my co-pilot.

What are the options you've used? How about temperature control? My set up is a Warm'n'safe liner with a mounted heat-troller. The temp knob is up on my front left panel. I'm trying to figure out if it would be better to do a bracket with outlet (powerlet) and dial on the side of the seat / grab handle area or to a remove style controller she puts in her pocket.

Now, plugging in and then getting on the bike presents the opportunity for the cable to get tangled and become a trip hazard. And if it can be tripped over, Annette will trip on it...

What are my options here??

I have the dual panel on the front as well. I have just run the leads to under the front and rear seat. I just let them poke out when they need too, otherwise they are under the seat.

So you control her temp up front?

I want to avoid the "it's too hot, it's too cold, it's too hot, it's too cold"...

Get here her own plug attached to the rail and her own controller if you want a peaceful ride

Yes what he said! I have a dual port powerlet by the left passenger foot peg. It's always powered ...then I use a inline controller for heated vest.

what he said. I have a dual remote that I use for jacket and gloves. when she rides with... I freeze and she gets all the power. keeps remote in her pocket and and Power plug sticks out between the front and rear seat. tucked under seat when not in use.

Powerlet makes this nice wireless controllers. I am on a second yr with mine on original battery and it works great.

I know it is almost summer, but I have one L with dual controller on the shelf that is looking for a new owner

Never been an issue

Toss half a dozen bricks in the oven and stash em in the sidecases or top case. Just pull over once an hour to change out the cold ones in her gear..

And don't listen to Spencer.. Christ, it gets Down to 50 and it's cold there.
