Re: BlueTooth HowTo - Sena20s, SM10, iPhone6, Zumo 590
I have a Shoei/Sena SRL/iPhone X/Garmin 595 relationship that has always been dysfunctional, regardless of pairing order. So much so that that I excommunicated the Garmin from any audio access to my helmet long ago. This inspires me to give it another go. I also have a Sena 20S Evo arriving today for my backup helmet. What a timely and informative thread.

Re: BlueTooth HowTo - Sena20s, SM10, iPhone6, Zumo 590
I got them all connected through bluetooth but fought with the proper audio level between my music, comms, and Garmin so I, too, took the Garmin out of the mix. Now everything I hear is good and I just have to peek downward to view the GPS.bill lumberg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 7:32 pm I have a Shoei/Sena SRL/iPhone X/Garmin 595 relationship that has always been dysfunctional, regardless of pairing order. Will the Sena and the phone work together normally using the setup, when the GPS is removed from the equation? Like if I’m not using it that day?

Re: BlueTooth HowTo - Sena20s, SM10, iPhone6, Zumo 590
Bill, yes it will.
The Sena 20s has two BT channels.
Mobile Phone Pairing 1 is phone to Sena 20s (earbuds)
Mobile Phone Pairing 2 is Sena SM10 to Sena20s. (GPS and Radar to earbuds).
So if Mobile Pairing 2 isn't used, Pairing 1 is still active.
Hope this helps, Don

Re: BlueTooth HowTo - Sena20s, SM10, iPhone6, Zumo 590
I used to be able to say "Hey Siri" and use my iPhone that way. Not anymore. I wonder if phone updates have eliminated that option.

It still works. Just tried it. Must be a setting somewhere in your last update.

I've checked the phone's Siri options, and that looks good. I don't get it. Will keep looking. Using iPhone 7.

On my SRL, I have to hold the center button for a few seconds if I want to use Siri.i should have put that in my previous post.
