dumb question - phone is paired to zumo as 'phone' and not as audio device, correct?

I've had a different challenge with my Zumo 660 / Sena pairing, but phone call audio has always been fine.

To check functionality, have you paired the phone with the Sena to make sure that the Sena mic is functioning?

One more thought; on my Zumo 660, the wire harness for the mount has one line for audio out (music) and another line for the mic - does the Zumo 590 use a single 3 pole cable to get the mic signal to the mixer?

Good luck.

I run the IPhone into the 590 for all phone calls, music, and the Smart Link app. The Sena 20S connects to Zumo 590 using the 590 headset mode/phone. I have a SM10 for GMRS radio and Escort. So far, I don't hear the Escort, so different problem.

DC is the Mike in the helmet actually working? Can you talk to Sena? Hello Sena, FM On?

I was thinking the same thing - pair the phone with only the SENA, make a call and see if it works that way - nothing else connected, to ensure the SENA is 100% functioning.

So is the coffee stain on the diagram to make us believe in its authenticity?

Not that I ever did it mind you........But......I've seen some "Well aged" Preventative Maintenance Charts" that just might have been 24 hours old when the Inspectors arrived onboard. Of course, they were never mine, always some goldbricker's.
