FYI, there is a software upgrade available for the forum software. I plan to run that update this weekend.
There "MIGHT" be an outage during that process; typically there is not, but I'm not an I.T. genuous and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night...

A couple of suggestions that will be helpful to those of us that are ultra lazy. Place a "New Posts" button at the top of the forums page. Making users click on the quick links menu to find the new posts link is abusive and a waste of electrons. Additionally, place a "Mark All Threads Read" button on the search results page that comes up after doing a new posts search. Again, having to go back to the forum page to mark threads as read is just plan exhausting. Hope these suggestions prove useful. I'm going to take a break now.

Hey, Pterodactyl, I agree with you. If you create a shortcut -- bookmark -- to the "Unread Posts" page, you can click it, and it will only show unread posts.
Figured that out after a crazy-mad clickstorm that left my index finger bruised for days.

Since the dinosaur is taking a break and getting a fresh oxygen tank, I will pick up the slack... we could have an assortment of buttons on each post like "That Sux, Up Yours Douchetard, or That's real fascinating....let me think on that one..." then less time would be required actually typing.
Saving the internet is a tiring business....
BTW, thanks for saving our part of the internet. I'm not sure how the website for the Hells Angels Coffee klatch is going...but this website is doing just fine. Thanks for ignoring all your realife job and family responsibilities to tend to our needs. Hud thanks you...from Atlanta.

For some reason “safari” won’t open the new link on my end. I get a message that the link is invalid.
Any clues on that? Still too early?

Are you able to delete the browsing cookies? I'm not familiar with the Apply browser.
Do not use the saved link - type the address in the address line, then save the new link.

Just cleared history and cookies and restarted but still get the same message.
Also opened new link.
Odd that Tapatalk works ok and if I go to the forum front page, use the drop down box in center for “home page” I get the invalid message but if I click “forum” it opens the old site.
Used the forum link last message, used tapatalk for this message.

Something kinda similar I noticed. Clicking one of the recent post links on the home page comes back with an error from Firefox basically saying the address wasn't understood and it doesn't recognize the protocol (htttp). Click the forum button up top and all is good.

FWIW, my iPhone Safari and my iPad Safari work with the new website very well. They're both still using the links from before the upgrade.
Google Chrome (office computer) works fine, too.

I knew the links didn't work, but I didn't understand why. On Chrome they just didn't go anywhere or do anything. Good catch with the htttp, I didn't notice the extra t in there.
That should be fixed now.

If your internet is stuttering, is that HTTTP protocol?

Maybe a new thread, with a correct date, so people don't ignore it. Or update the thread title.

It will be a new thread - since I just spent about a hour resetting passwords and updating extensions...
