MSRP for the '18ES is $18,000.00, and none of this changes my opinion one iota (whatever the F an "Iota" is....)

This is very disappointing. I sure am glad I found another '14 after my crash. With any luck, this one will last a long time....

Same color for US. Price converts to about the same. Looks fine to this early 40-something dude. Same as previous years, different colored plastics. More of the same formula. Meh... I'll stick with my 2007 that's long paid for, built just the way I want, only 60k miles young, and raring to go.

    * No engine revisions
    * No engine power revisions
    * No chassis revisions
    * No body work revisions
    * No rolling stock revisions
No danger to my bank account because I have no reason to replace my AssFault Gray '15ES. At least Yamaha continues to offer new FJRs.

Well I like the color. Doesn't matter what I like because I'm not yet in the market for a replacement. But when I am, I might be snagging a low mileage used one of these.

I wouldn't have expected much other than BNC from Yamaha so soon after the last revisions. In fact I was surprised the last revisions came as soon as they did. They fixed the unnecessary sixth gear thing everyone complained about for so long. Far as I'm concerned, the current version is just about darn perfect and makes me wish I WAS in the market for a new one, but I'm not.

I said just about perfect because it doesn't have DCT on it yet. When it does, it will be absolutely perfect and I might be willing to part ways with my beloved old 07AE. I might even be tempted to buy new.

I like the color, just like I liked the blue 16's. I like them better than the red ones.

My '13 is only getting about 6Km per year on it for the last couple of years, so as much as I'd love one, I'm having a really hard time justifying keeping the one I have. $1400 yr just for ins!

... but then I go down to EOM or SEO and all is forgiven.

I like the color.
I was really hoping for an FJ-07.
Since I’m a few years from needing to replace my FJR,
I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Maybe someday.

I refuse to pay for an FJR with a Matte finish. I like it shiny. I cannot see this actually selling, but I am not a marketing genius. The "color" isn't bad. The finish sucks.

My '15ES in beautiful ASSFault Gray only has 31K miles. If something happens to it that I survive, I will find a '16 or '17. I am not paying for a matte finished FJR.

I agree with my friend hppants. This is the ugliest (in fact the ONLY ugly) FJR to date.

Isn't this basically "bass boat blue" but without the shiny?
I'm not getting a rise out of it so I think it's the current blue without shiney.

Nice touch on the black frame though, hard to clean but looks cool.
