Hello all,

Shout out from N. Mi. Picked up the FJR last year, 2014 A, and have been enjoying it much. Quite the improvement over the FJ700 i was riding. My daughter and I have been on a few trips last year and this. Several trips in the UP, down to Grand Rapids, and Detroit area, down to KY end of last year, and we just did a trip through CA, NY, VT, NH and a bit into ME a few weeks ago. White Mountains are is very nice, and HWY 100 in VT was a hoot.

We're planning on EOM next month, and have the room booked. Looking forward to meeting up with y'all.

Welcome! The red ones are the fastest, but you already know that.

I'm jonesing about my 2018 tour and the UP is on my short list now. I may need some advice as it gets closer.

Cheers!

Welcome from San diego...... :P

I mean Owosso..
If you are planning on attending EOM?

PM me for a list of rooms/people "Oface,Wheaton" for starters, to avoid at all costs.
You will end up hungover, naked and taped to the registration desk with at least one lit candle sticking out of your ass.

BTDT Twice.

Not even going to mention Intech,JWilly,Clocklaw,Fencer, or any of the special deviants who live real close the the venue..
Just think of the Banjo boy in Deliverance.

Be safe, stay situationally aware, and always travel with a group that has at least 4 or 5 womenfolk with them. Make sure they are woman because some, like Biker Geek,El Toro Joe, Oface , Abercromby and Yamafitter like to cross dress so that they may get the chance to strip down and humiliate the noob.. :bustinlove:

BTDT 3 times.

Again, Welcome mi_pjk hope you enjoy the "ride" here!

Welcome, from Lower Michigan.
I can see from your FJR color choice you are a man of great taste. Congrats. See you at EOM.

Good gravy, reading this post, now i feel funny.

I been reading a while on the 'other' forum, and just now realized this one was here, so i may hang around on this patch of 'net.

Many thanks for the welcomes, and look forward to meeting up in Sept.

I encourage you to do more than read, knowing that a question, even if asked for the 10,000th time, will most likely get answered anyways, along with some color commentary.

One thing to keep aware...these forums usually allow people to jest with each other. There is also a lot of helpfulness on the FJR forums. At FJR meets, usually the best foot is kept forward...and the worst foot is kept for online "entertainment".

For some members, their entertainment foot IS their best foot....

Welcome to the institution.

After reading Bust's post I'm thinking he is asking if you have any dinner plans at EOM.

Now, is it just me, or did that strike anyone else as a coy response to Bust's post? EOM may be far more interesting than I first imagined .....

< snicker, it kinda was >

I've been reading (here an there) and can tell y'all don't take yourselves ( or others ) too seriously. Which I like.

I plan on bringing down some local crafty brew, just in case there's an initiation fee. Now, how many are in the class? < looking around, i see some of you have your hand up twice >

^^^ Don't bother counting...look at the EOM picture from last year's EOM....probably about that. So too many.

You should probably limit the imbibers to people from Michigan, people who attended UM or MSU, or whatever yooper college there is in Marquette, or vacationed in Michigan.

Don't serve to those residing in OHIO. You'll just get them worked up for another "border war".
