Can anyone tell me what the headlight bulb number is for the gen 3 bike? I like to pack one under the seat for bike tours. I can fix that on the run. Thanks

See there hppants, we were both right. I gave you a number and you said, "Ray will know."
Which basically meant, "I hear what you are saying but you are a doofus so I am going to ask RaYzerman. Ray knows everything. Ray is smart and helpful and everybody likes him. Whereas you... anyway I will ask Ray."
Seriously, I am glad that we both know the answer now. Pop had the spare bulb in the Yamaha! cardboard box the day he crashed the '07. I need to let him know to pack that one in the new bike.
It's amazing how brown his old lights were after 10 years and over 55K miles. Strange that he never had a bulb burn out on that bike.

Thanks for all that guys, but that was too easy. The bulbs haven't changed except for the LED's in '16's and up. The originals are OK, and typically last the longest. Brighter aftermarket ones are not likely to last as long. I don't actually carry a spare, if one burns out, there's always a store that has them.... or run the high beams for a while until you find one. All good. And Ray doesn't know everything........

Ray knows that Gordie Howe was the best NHL player the Redwings ever had, but other than that...can you really trust him?

My confusion was that I couldn't correlate the "H4" with the "9003". I run my high beams all the time, except the EXTREMELY rare instance when I'm riding at night. So my HB always burns out. Seems it does so when I'm camping out in the middle of no where. It's something that I can fix at the campground, so I carry a spare under my seat along with everything else but the kitchen sink.
I really did tell RFH that "Ray would know".

On a side note, for the NHL playoffs I've been a Nashville Predators fan..... great game last night to eliminate the Ducks.

Noticed that you announced it
after the result of the series.
You win Ray!
Headlight bulbs...it's like a light just went on in Ray's head.
