light bar

Post by its just rain »

I recently installed the AdMore light bar above my license plate. I'm told that it drastically makes a difference to those behind me. It was very simple to install, don't know why I hadn't done it before now!

More lighting (especially in the rear) is always a good thing!

Have a complete Admore kit installed in the FJRs V46, has been a nice addition.

Was this the one you used? https://www.admorelighting.com/product/ ... bar-small/

I'm wanting to replace the Hyperlites, with something more secure.

Yeah, I get nothing but compliments on my Admore light bar. I installed the large one, clear lens, below the license plate. I cut a piece of metal sheet to match & installed it too to stiffen up the plate.

Just ordered the small bar, after seeing rbentnail's post, and seeing the mounting (thanks). I'm tired of replacing Hyperlites.

That's the reason I struggle with getting one of these. The main reason I would want one is to draw attention to the big SUV behind me. I feel like down low, you're only going to see it with other bikes. Don't get me wrong, your install looks very nice. I just wonder about the real effectiveness.

I think those LED light bars are really, really bright. Admore doesn't post lumens in their specs (wonder why?) but does have this YouTube video.

I have an tir3? Maybe it's a 6? Between my plate and the stock lights. There's no missing it,unless your nose is buried in a phone. I think anything LED as long as it's from a reputable manufacturer, you're all good. Admore makes a good product that's plug n play. I'd go for it, especially if you don't want to make your own harness

The recent Admore large light bar finally has brighter LED's, and sexy sequential signals. I use a Whelen Strip-Lite which is similar with 96 LED's mounted up under my top box.

I liked that light bar, when we were in Red Lodge. I liked the blinkers especially.

The Admore large light bar is similar, maybe 1/2" shorter and has full width brake light with sequential signals.
The bison was stuck on the top box, not by me and with no proper prep, so fell off and stuck (very well) to where it is today.

Goes with the upside down forks. Go buffalo or go home.

Just installed the light bar today. I went in extra for the wiring harness, and it made it so much easier. Marie loves the extra turn signals too!

The wiring harness is the only way to fly. I don't cut, positap, or splice, if I can help it.
