Close. Vietnamese. Wheaton...IL? This is going to be a big upgrade from a naked sv650 for touring, but I'll miss how small the sv is though for city filtering.

@Redfish I like the fact that it comes standard with heated grips.
@0face Makes sense if you want to ride all day everyday. But being afraid if hitting a patch of ice is part of the excitement of riding no?

Welcome to the forum. Those left over '15s are going at a good discount. Congrats.

Definitely a good discount going on. I was looking at a used 08 but the blowout pricing of a new 15 was too appealing to pass up.

Which is why I didn't get a new '15, my 09 with 77k is worthless. Ah well with 77k is it only 1/2 wore out at worst.

Put a kilo inside your wheels. Free run flats plus the value of the bike will go up if you sell to the right people.

Sorry.
And yes, Wheaton, IL is where wifey and I spent the first 50+ years of our lives. Now we are in a proper climate and within day ride striking distance of the southern Appalachians from the Cherohala, north and east to western VA.

Sorry man, sucks to be you...but spring and SW WI is not too far away.
Southern Indiana and SE Ohio has awesome riding as well. Of course you already knew all that. There's a SE Ohio Ramble being based out of Marietta, OH the first weekend of May.
There's a thread on it in the Midwest section of the board. We aren't weird...well most aren't...just a bunch of middle aged teenagers rocking some roads, and telling stories in the parking lot afterwards over a coupla beers.

Got something planned with my brother that weekend to go into Michigan along the lake. But if it falls through, I'll take a look at SEO

I think having a motorcycle is more costly than having a drug problem.
