Hello folks.

My name is Dave P. and RaYzerman just invited me here from another forum.
This winter has been one of extreme anticipation for me.
About one week and 350 miles before the snow hit,
I stumbled across an amazing deal on a 2004 FJR1300 ABS with only 6,500 miles on the clock.
As the weather warms up I'll be out in the garage fixing up a little light damage
from a light parking lot drop, adding a few farkles, cleaning, maintaining, lowering etc.
(I grabbed her for only $2,200 after insurance paid out to the owner) Whoo hoo! :-)
It was a clear cut case of being in the right place at the right time and of course,
the Motorcycle Gods smiling upon me.
I'm grateful, I'm totally stoked, and I can't wait for summer! :-)

^^^^ Totally agree. As long as any "sitting still for a long time" issues are cleared up, she should be awesome. I loved my (2) 2004s, best GEN 1 year made imo.

Get herself some fresh skins, and she should work out great.

Welcome!

Welcome! It just so happens that there is a tech day quite near you in June ;) ...viewtopic.php?f=55&t=2522

There will be several characters from nearby (including some foreigners who manage to sneak over the border from Canada while our border guards are not paying attention). We'll be happy to help you spend your money on farkles and such, as well as help wreck stuff, er install stuff!

Hope to see you then, or along the road somewhere!!

Welcome to the forum where Ray and his buddies in Canada occasionally mount an invasion to return the US to the Crown. They manage to get in the only thing mounted is the cycles and Homeland security is likely monitoring this site. It makes for hilarious reading.
