Hello from Ontario - New Guy

Hi folks.

While not completely new to the FJR (started to ride it in 2016) I am new to this site. I have been on some of the other sites but it is always great to meet another group who are interested in this great bike and the riding opportunities if offers.

My bike is a 2013 which I bought last year with very low mileage. I have made a few changes, seat to Corbin, T-Rex engine and luggage bags and I am having the Heli bar riser installed during winter storage.

Thanks for letting me join.

Later

Welcome! There's a few of you up across the border. Check out my WNY Tech Day thread and maybe we'll see you then!

You're on the wrong side of Toronto to find any fun riding.

Welcome to the Riders forum where you will find an odd eclectic bunch of folks. I mean where else could you find this:

:bustinlove:

It is named after a forum member who reported rides a Schwinn.

Thanks guys.

And Yamafitter you should try the Campbellville and Grand River areas. Lots of rivers and twisties.

And Rayzerman how is the Root Beer '14 treating you. Have you added some stuff since getting it in iGuelph?

I thought we talked about an immigration policy here. How many FrostBacks are we gonna let in here?

Welcome the above was in jest towards the other witless Candians. This is a great place. Happy to have you.

Welcome from the Gulf Coast!!! One day I shall like to visit Canada, but admittedly and surely due to my ignorance, Ontario isn't high on that itiniary. I've seen plenty of good stuff in Vancouver, Quebec, and Nova Scotia, in which I shall one day like to visit some of my Acadian heritage. Which areas do you like to ride? Do have any pictures of your adventures you would like to share?

Winter storage is when they park the bikes, and...
A) Get out the gas powered sleds, open up the whiskey bottle and try to thread those spaces in between the trees,
B) Fly down to AZ or Florida, or
C) Sit in their igloo, eat raw fish and sniff gasoline

...depending on your economic circumstances.

Winter storage is that terrible time of the year from December to March when we only dream of riding or yes AZ with a rental from Eagle Riders which is almost as good as your own bike.
