I have a work acquaintance (from a partnering company) that recently moved from Chicago area to Atlanta. He has an FJR (don't know any more yet), and I need someone to point him toward for riding connections. Since I rarely hang out with the Hotlanta Hoodlums anymore, who gets nominated???

Dealing with a family member in the hospital currently Jeff, but once things settle down (might be a while) the wife and I might be up for some rides.

I'm not respectable, and I'm not in Atlanta. But if your friend wants to ride, I might meet up with him after I get my GPS working and installed...

I gave the guy a rundown on the entire Atlanta-NorthGA-HighlandsNC area. I also gave him the URL for this board. Let's see what he does with it.
He's from Chicago and recently moved to Hotlanta, so he probably needs to go out, learn the bike AND the twisties for a bit by himself. Maybe late summer would be a good time for him to join up and expand his horizons.

Back when this board was new it was loaded with guys from the Atlanta area. They rode almost every weekend. Most of them still are riding just on different bikes. I run into them all the time. A lot of them switched to Super Tenere's. If you don't limit your riding buddies to FJR's there are a lot of excellent riders running N. Ga, W. NC and TN. Lots of websites too that you can try like FJR Owners Forum.
