Oil Filter Gasket

I don't know if this has been mentioned here or not, and I apologize if it has, but on another forum that I frequent, this was posted, so I thought that I'd share it with all of you; on your next engine oil change after removing the old oil filter, remove the gasket from the old oil filter. Clean it, of course, and store it in the glove box.
Any time that you do any other maintenance on the bike from then on, it'll be easy to find and put it around the right handlebar grip, engaging the front brake lever with the throttle. This will immobilize your bike from any accidental bump from the rear, preventing the bike from tumbling onto its expensive plastic parts.
Ride safely.
