Greetings from Germany

Hey there,
my name is Andy, I`m living 30 mls south of Munich in Bavaria/Germany. 3 weeks ago I bought my brand new bronze met FJR1300AE. After having ridden a BMW R1200GS Adventure for more than 50.000 mls I wanted to change to a reliable 4 cylinder engine. All the horror messages here in germany about the new water cooler boxer (fatal gearbox breakdown, rear shock absorber on the RT) directed my way back to my Yamaha dealer at site.
Now I have a permanent smile in my face, and 146 HP really feel good.
Since I never say "never" and the world is small, who knows where we meet some day.
Have a good time and drive safe
Andy

Welcome! I was in Bayreuth and Moosbach earlier this year. My niece is an au pair for a family in Bayreuth and my sister and I visited our grandfather's hometown of Moosbach. I am insanely jealous of the scenery you have! Of course, I'm also jealous of the scenery in many other parts of my own country... :-)
