Just found this forum and look forward to reading all the posts. Coming to you from Norman, Ok on a 2012 FJR. Love the bike and the performance.

How could the beer be interrupted when the kicks stands are up for the day before the first glass is tasted?

Never during. It's really hard to find a drink holder for an FJR and I don't ride Harleys or Goldwings. Plus, beer from a camel back unit just doesn't go down as well as freshly poured.

However, thanks to the current administration in DC, we should be able to just put a straw in the tank...
