Okay, I think it may be time to break the Concours habit after 22 years. Is this a good place to find a used Gen II FJR?

One of two places to start your search. And ebay & craigslist - I found my current FJR on craigslist 30 miles away.

There hasn't been much on Craigslist near me. I found what I thought would be the perfect 2007 for me on Cycle Trader for sale in GA. The location wouldn't be a problem for me because I have family and friends down there. But the private seller didn't respond to my initial attempts to contact him.

Then I saw the ad renewed after a couple of weeks so I tried again. Well, when I finally reached the seller he said it was sold.Image

That was a few weeks ago and the ad was just updated yesterday. I wonder why the ad keeps updating if the motor is sold?

Could be the sale fell through, maybe contact them again. There are quite a few Georgia riders on the forum, maybe one could test it out for you and let you know how it looks.

Buddy of mine is about to sell his '05 (Gen I) in Minnesota. I know you said Gen II but it's a well loved Gen I. PM me if you're interested. Check the FJRforum.com

Because this particular FJR was so well farkled out I thought it might possible belong to or be known by someone on the FJR Forum even thought it was never offered for sale there. One of the forum members said he thought it might have belonged to Root Beer Express who he said was a member here.

Well, the gold levers may be the hint....anyone that knows who's bike this is (if it's Root Beer Express then someone has his contact info) I'm sure they will be along shortly.
