Nah. I rather enjoy checking the tires and shootin' the breeze at the gas station once in a while. IMHO they aren't worth it when you pay for the unit and the hassle of tire rebalancing. Additionally, if you don't already have them you'll have to buy metal valve stems. And if you have an angled one you may have to have a straight one put back on. Then you gotta but a new gps to use them.

No thanks, I'll keep my el-cheapo nuvi 'til it dies. But if you got too much money that you need to get rid of consider adopting me. Who's my Daddy :D :D ?

After having one, I wouldn't be without a TPMS.... I have a stand-alone Doran system but the sensors last 2-3 years (non-replaceable batteries) and are $25 each. There are quite a few cheap TPMS systems out there with replaceable batteries..... the Garmin ones seem expensive, but over 5 years it will be a wash.....
If you didn't buy the 390 yet, the new 590 is a better deal as it has more features............

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.
