New guy from Texas

Hey guys I'm a new guy from Katy in Texas. I have been riding about 5 years now and have graduated from my first bike (2009 Yamaha FZ6) to a 2007 Yamaha FJR1300 and that's why I'm here.

) I recon that the Feejeer has a big as Texas grin on your face coming from a FZ6.
Welcome! I bought a 6 while I had the feejeer, it was a fun bike but there ain't no replacement for displacement- the 1300 rocks!

I was born, raised and educated in Scotland. I came to Houston in 1993 on a 2 year "temporary" assignment and kind of sort of forgot to go home.
Stopped by the dealership last weekend and had them run my VIN number and it turns out that are a couple of outstanding recalls so I'll get it back on Wednesday if the parts come in.
