Michelin is now selling the PR4--supposed to get 20% better mileage, better handling, and better all-year stability. There will be three versions: standard PR4 for all-around sport-touring; PR4 GT for heavier touring bikes, and PR4 Trail for adventure bikes. Not a lot of detail available yet. Scroll down on this page for a brief description:

I don't think there is ANY tire designed for Gerald's abuse.

Yeah, I've pretty much came to therms with that myself.....but that means I won't be spending the premium money for the premium tire, no point.

I agree, but it only took me 2,750 miles to get to that wear pattern....

I agree. Great uniform wear, just really fast wear... How many tires would Mr. Clocklaw have to stack on his FJR to come with me on the Alaska round trip? I'd let ya trailer to my house.

I would probably need a trailer for the tires....or I could just ride Ginger.....it seems those Shinko's wear better than what I put on the FJR.

Think that has anything to do with the amount of power you put to the rear wheel? ;)
