Canyon Cage Install
Got myself a Canyon Cage from MC Enterprise. Before I plunge and do the install, I would to ask on those who have it how difficult it is put it up on the bike. I am little bit concern on the left engine guard that it look like very close to the gear shift linkage. Any tips or heads up I greatly appreciate. My bike model year is 2012.

I don't have them, but there are some pictures in this thread that may help.

No clearance issues at all on my 2013. Just follow the instructions carefully and be sure to get all the spacers in the proper place.FJ-Ron wrote:Got myself a Canyon Cage from MC Enterprise. Re: Canyon Cage Install
There were two of us here, and the extra pair of hands helped. One person should be able to do them, though.FJ-Ron wrote:Did you install by yourself? Or need extra hand to install it?

Re: Canyon Cage Install
I installed these by myself on my '15 this afternoon. The instructions say to have a second set of hands, one to hold the guard, the other to install the hardware. But it is easy to do solo. Just hang the guard first by the tab that goes under the "umbrella bolt" (that holds on the side cover), and that'll hold the orientation enough to get the other two mounting points sorted. The guard for the GEN II is a bit different, but I'd be surprised if it presents any difficulty.
