Auxiliary Lights wiring

I just bought a Denali Xtreme from Twisted Throttle for my 2012 FJR and I am planning to install it right under the side mirrors using Motorcycle Larry's auxiliary light brackets. My question is where is the possible way to route the wires? Can someone give some advice how did you wire your lights? Did you punch a hole? and where?

I drilled a hole in the black panel, one on each side, (B and C panels, I think)just big enough for the wire to pass through. That looked very nice, but every time I took the panel off to work on something I had to leave it hanging because I didn't want to disconnect one end of the wires to pull them back through. Over the years, As I upgraded my aux lights, I converted the holes to slots so they can slip on and off easier. And now I have so many wires that I don't worry about trying to make them look nice.

On the Gen 2, you can run the wiring for each light in through the front vent. I'm working on installing the LR4 LED's from Justin here, but I've gotten distracted by this wicked thing called "deer season"...

I knew I shoulda kept the pics  ....... I took my mirrors off and drilled through the mount brackets, snaked the wires up into the rubber boot of the mirrors and used an exacto knife to cut an x into the mirrors rubber boot for the wires to exit.
Hardly any wire exposed that way.
