I plugged it into the battery trickle charger. Haven't ridden it since EOM and I want it to start fine when the 2022 Pigs-R-Us Travelers Rest South Carolina Doublewide400 fixes to commence next Saturday at 9am KSU!

Already? I figure I have another six weeks or so (or until the first salt) and your winter doesn't start any sooner than ours.
(I used to live in Burlington back in the '80's.)

I usually end my season October 31st regardless of the weather...
'Next couple of weeks is full of obligations and stuff that will preclude much riding so... Decided to get a bit ahead on the "parking the bike for the winter" chore.
Thats said, it's not like if by chance the weather stays nice and I'm obligation free for a day I can't unplug and take off for a ride ;)

Givi SR357 luggage rack installed to hold the rear box. Carrying camera gear problem = solved.

Indeed! This is why I added the steel 357...camera gear can be heavy.

Ahhhh. So THAT is what people were talking about being broken if you didn't use the SR357 rack. I never understood. Very helpful pic.

Yep, Gerauld used to sell the stiffy kit which also helped with this. After sourcing and replacing my subframe, I put the stiffy kit on my bike AND the Givi SR357 rack. I never want to deal with that again. I was thankful it happened close enough to home for my wife to drive over and get my bags for me so I could ride home. Definitely don't want that happening somewhere across the country.

Getting it staged for a few hundred miles tomorrow. 70 and sunny. May wander up to Hazard's Distillery again then the long way home. Should have about 1000 miles on it at days end.

Finally got around to installing the Admore stuff I got after EOM; lightbar pro and universal luggage lighting. Took about 90 minutes with the longest single activity being making a decision on how to run the lightbar wire. Ultimately ran it parallel to the luggage light through the luggage mount hole to avoid drilling any holes in plastic.
Before, after.
