Rode it around a couple of miles yesterday for Tour of Honor. Soaking bugs off of it this morning.

Couple = >1000 miles isn't it. Just nod your head slowly if that is correct.bill lumberg wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 11:21 am Rode it around a couple of miles yesterday for Tour of Honor. Soaking bugs off of it this morning.

I love the ride out to Advocate from Parrsboro. Did you take Apple River Road back toward Joggins? I haven't been on that part in years - probably rough.Canadian FJR wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 2:22 pm Went for a rip around Advocate Harbour.
Roads are getting in rough shape but there was very little traffic and the scenery was fantastic.

My son who just turned 30 is probably not going to age out of his FJR very soon. JSNS!fontanaman wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 4:07 pmGood luck with the sale. 2022 Yamaha Tracer GTs are not available. When there are I want too see if it could replace my FJR. Some day we can turn this place into a dual sport forum for former FJR riders.!
Sorry for the late response here. I have the GoPro Max. Just a great fun camera to go along with the Hero 8 and 9 I also have. Yes I am a GP junkie but they gave me the 8 for free to replace the old cube Session cam from years ago that was a flop and crapped out so I did not buy them all One thing about GP, their customer service is excellent these days and they go out of their way to help their customers. Was not always that way but is now.BikerGeek wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 9:29 amCan you provide any more info on that camera?Blueridgerider wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 11:43 am The 360 camera I have mounted can get some pretty cool videos and snapshots.
Great photo! I really enjoyed yours from last months calendar as well. I don't mind those cool starts especially when you know its warming up nicely during the day. Start off with a jacket liner and its in the bags by lunch time.Hppants wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 6:14 pm Absolutely gorgeous weather this morning after a nasty cold front passed through yesterday evening. Woke up to about 50 degrees and severe clear. So I pulled out the ole red pig and accompanied a buddy on a 200 mile "local" back road adventure. Grilled shrimp salad for lunch.
We had the world all to ourselves.
I tell ya - this is a heavy bike. Since I bought the dual sport, I now realize just how heavy it is. But boy, it sure is fun to ride!!!
Yeah. I don't ride to work. I try to avoid commercial/retail areas. People are dicks and don't give a rat's pitootee if they hit someone or something...so I avoid TR when headed out of town and would suggest that you avoid it as well...even if it is the straight line home. Too many pedestrians and cars pulling in and out. There are bypass roads. I'd probably hit the secret back ways around TR. From a previous, largely abandoned town, it is now a buzzin little town with the Swamp Rabbit Trail....and breweries, and distilleries, and...Blueridgerider wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 2:03 pm I try like we all do to be so proactive to look out for the morons who want to kill us. Sometime no matter how careful we are something can happen we cannot control. Yesterday in Wheaton's neck of the woods Travelers Rest (going by the driving range) I was putting along nearing home thinking about the great day and was just starting to get past this truck who then decided to pull out and almost T Bone me I saw him ahead and he seemed like no threat (always watch the tires for movement) but if I did not hit the gas and swerve it could have been bad. The photo does not show how close he came to me as he kept coming right at the middle of my bike. Whoa!! Really makes you think when something like that happens. Going over and over it in my head there was nothing I could have done to avoid it so guess it was just not my time.
Haha I noticed that plate as well, was so pissed, and flipped him off good. He was behind me for a good while but stayed way back. I honestly think he did not see me as he was coming right at me and not a scare. Moron either way but almost worse if he was messing with me because of my bike.
It’s SC…douche not paying attention. If he was upset there would have been gunshots.Blueridgerider wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 3:25 pmHaha I noticed that plate as well, was so pissed, and flipped him off good.
