1st New Year Resolution for Pants:
During the summer of 2022, have an expresso at an overlook on the Cherahola Skyway. I would enjoy that.

Took it to buy steak and scotch. Filled it up with gas in preparation for hitting the skyway and the dragon tomorrow.

Checked tires and fluids. Wife and
I will ride about five hours away to visit family, returning the next day (Wednesday). Thursday,
I’m riding to Stockton AL to drop off a plate and a clip. That’ll be around 10 hours riding time for Thursday.
I need to order tires.

I ordered 2 new sets of PR4s, one for son, one for me. Looks like Saturday or Sunday will be nomar day for son and brake/clutch fluid changing time on his bike, and maybe mine as well.

For man that loves warm weather, you don't seem to let the cool weather stop you.

My rear tire is right at the wear bars. Well, in the middle. So another PR4GT soon. The edges are good. Us flat landers need to work out a tire exchange with you guys that have curvy roads.

Yesterday but...
A nice 320-ish ride around the block. Good to get out.

I only managed 30-odd. Was going to go further, but the weather was so dank and drizzly even my Pinlock kept misting over. And the further away from home the mistier the weather was. When you can't see far enough in front to overtake ... "you don't ride a motorcycle to stay in a queue of cars" my trainer said (the one I used when I re-started motorcycling after my 35 years in the non-motorcycling wilderness).
Still, at least it was further than my shopping trips.

275 miles - one of my favorite local loops. A bit warm at 75 degrees under partly sunny skies, but I'll take it.

I have been considering flipping my tires (direction be damned, we are talking about money!) as I wear the left side first then the center very closely behind. But the right side has at least 50% remaining. That the center has less than 1000 miles more than the left convinces me this would not be worth the effort. But I thought about it.

Bill,
It's been warm as hell here, why you need all that cold weather stuff? 70 freakin degrees!

BL,
I can respect that. I would think Hippo Hands should do the trick.

Rode mine a couple hundred miles today.
Went to see my cousin north of me. He got him a few acres with a barn to put his RV in. He spends his free time up there.
Nice ride in rural Florida. We rode 3 miles of dirt road to get to his place. That county knows how to keep a rock road graded. It was like riding pavement.
