Next time we get together 'junior, check out my VStream for a size comparison. FWIW, for most of our riding the 21" CB would be a nice compromise size for protection and air flow.

My $.02...and worth exactly what you paid for it!

Ive copied both of Redfish's photos with the stock shield overlay and the biggest diff is its a little bit more rounded at the top. I'm 95% with the 21. Wont matter for a couple of momths, though,.

With all the excitement I never got back to this thread. Before Pop crashed hppants did switch bikes with me and he tried the taller Cee Bailey. Of course I was stuck with his LacePantyPink '14. His bike had the Cee Bailey Sport Shield which was what I had to begin with. I really like the Sport Shield better overall. The 21inch does better for cold weather, the pocket is wider as well as taller.

I had no choice, I had to order another Sport Shield.

But if Pop were to buy a Gen3 he might like the taller shield...

Actually the 21" shield is much wider and holds that width advantage continuously.

I am happy to say that the Sport Shield (19") arrived yesterday and I immediately removed the 21 inch Cee Bailey. The Sport Shield is on the '15. It looks and performs as wonderfully as I remembered.

Dad's "new" '14 already had the Sport Shield installed. If he would ever quit stalling and start riding again he could evaluate both shields and decide what he likes.

Looking at getting a Dark grey 19" sport shield for my 08. I think it will look great on the dark grey bike. But, am trying to decide between the regular or reverse curve tip. Thoughts on the reverse curve tip?

I think it speaks volumes that Cee Bailey made both a "Standard Contour" and "Reverse Contour" version for the Gen2 but they only make the Reverse Contour for the Gen3. It just works better.

FWIW we had the next size up reverse contour on Dad's '07 and for us it was The Perfect Shield. We had two different Cee Baileys before that one as well as the OE shield.

Thanks, was hard to tell from the pics if the ones you had were reverse contour or not.
