7,000 mi. on Angel GTs on an FJR?? By 4,500 - 4,800 mi. they're usually cuppped and scary feeling in my experience with 2 sets, running them at 42/42. One set was regular GTs, the other was A-spec. No difference, but, I don't take them all the way to the edge. Usually have 3/8" chicken strips. I'd guess new tires will solve the issue?

Issue appears to be resolved, nothing left to solve. Didn't have it slip at all on the last ride.

Here's the front at 7,000 miles. I'd say it's worn very evenly. Plenty of miles left in this tire. That's 2 sets of Angel GT's that were over 7,000, and I wouldn't say I'm gentle on them by any means. It's always been a good tire for me.

Here's the rear at 7,000 miles. Probably got another 500-1000 left in it, if they are curvy roads. 2,000 if straight, flat roads?

I see little to complain about on these tires.

Well, yes amazing to me too. No way I could ever get 7-8000 miles out of an Angel GT..... your sides look like they got warmed up pretty good on that last run... I'm guessing because of the 37 psi. As far as your "slipping out" issue goes, I still don't understand it... your tires were not overinflated, but you had made changes to your bike and possibly your riding posture..... I'll say you simply had not yet adjusted.....
