Do what the Harley riders did.... the ones I followed on the Blue Ridge a couple of years ago... longer peg feelers that went all sparky when grinding on the pavement... quite the light show, and they were showing off (not that they had to lean much).
It's already quite a spectacle following me, no sparks needed..
Only if we can keep up.

I guess removing the pegs and examining them for wear should be an annual (?) maintenance item. I'll probably take mine off the next time I lube the linkages.
Dan
I've always figured since I'm already there every couple of yrs for shifter & brake pedal clean and lube, I pull the pegs off, clean, inspect & lightly lube like everything else.

Follow-up on this subject, As expected the cheapo pegs i bought on Amazon are worth about what i paid for them. With just 2500 miles on them in the past week the rubber pads are falling apart. And of course the mounting holes are different than OEM so I can't move the OEM pads onto these.. I'm going to order OEM and then send these back to Bezos for a refund.

We stand too much for Chinese pegs. I’m glad you’re ordering OEM.

Hmmmmm. yeah. that's it. riding two up. Couldn't have anything to do with someone we know dragging that peg around the corners at all, could it?

The pegs must be aftermarket, there is no feeler on the tip
They're stock pegs, just a little worn from riding two up in the twisties... EOM was a little rough on tires and pegs.
