Thank you for sharing!

Gotta keep it PG here in the office behind my desk. Although this is very fitting because many of the knuckleheads that get sent in here act like Jackasses.

This year at SFO Turk set aside some time to reflect on the life of Jason. FYB, the mayor of Iowa where we learned it was Jason who gave Craig that appropriate name and Sonya (glad she could join her moto family) were some who shared Jason stories that we all enjoyed.

Time well spent.

Is that a bag of dogshit next your thermos? And where'd you steal that salt shaker from?

Me and Jason are laughing right now...

Salted almonds, and a salt shaker from home.

And a little voodoo doll of Marty just off screen, you bastard. Jason is laughing at you now.

There are some around here who are idiots. You're not one of 'em.

I've been thinking of Jason and his family as we come in to the holidays. This will be the first Christmas that his kids and grandkids won't have him there. :(

The whole first year after losing someone is heart breaking as you get reminded of the loss at various important events through the year. The intensity ebbs and flows through time, but it generally softens over time. But it never goes away. I still have times where I miss my mom intensely. She died about this time of year in 1995. However, the pain, over time, is not the curse that it was at the beginning. After a long time, it is a bitter, but gentler reminder of what a great person that was and how lucky you were to have that person in your life. No matter how hard it hurts right now, sometimes after much time has passed, it's better to have that feeling than not to have that feeling at all.

When are we riding next ? (Falls asleep by the fireplace, dream sequence engage: Do you think we can get Wayne to put the bike in the trailer instead of Dolly, and come down to ride?)

Sonya's daughter Olivia shared this via FB today - she said I could share it here as well. If you're friends with her on FB, go take a look at the video clip that shows then entire image. Just epic...

I think we understand how smart they were to ask those who were asked to carry out this selfless task.

I dunno why, but when I checked into the forum this morning, I noted that Sonya's heartfelt contribution within this thread is THE most loved post on this site. That led me to run through this entire thread from the beginning. Once again, Jason's tie that binds us is still very strong.

My back is a bit torque'd this morning. But I'm gonna go anyway. I NEED to ride today.

I'm staying thirsty, Jason....
