I don't have anything yet... I was going to start with a hitch and figure out the trailer after. I do know that I need a hitch that will work a darkside tire.
I may be mistaken, but I thought Bryan/Auburn is a darksider.
I believe so.
On a Goldwing for a while now. I may be wrong, but I believe he never Darksided his FJR and when had a trailer with it.

That is a Bushtec hitch and trailer. Best Hitch you can get. Best trailer too. It does use a pin with a Heim joint connection. Not sure if he has the hitch that has the pin bolted in or welded in. Depending on the trailer you have Nate will mater. If it is a welded in pin, you can cut it off and drill for a regular ball if that is what your trailer needs.

Bushtec hitch will work darkside, depending on the tire used

Correct, never darksided my FJR, but darkside will work with bushtec hitch on the FJR. (depends on the tire used)
Depending on what Nate wants to do, I could build him a custom hitch. Would need access to a bike locally to do it for him. I would do it similar to the Bushtec, but also make so the back could come off and allow tire removal instead of dropping the wheel out the bottom.

I have been toying with the idea of just fabbing up my own.

Why do you all want to give away my hitch? I will be converting it to carry large flags for Patriot Guard Missions, so it will not be going anywhere.
Did I mention cost or lack of cost?

Nate I'll send you some pics tomorrow of my hitch. Easy to fab. You're kind of handy.

Was going through an old thread and have a better photo of Duane's bike with the hitch attached.
