There should be a lot more photos out there. Weren't there a bunch of photos at breakfast? And a group photo up at the top of the mountain?

Wayne what priceless drone footage. Combine that with the photos and tribute violin video and you really get a true sense of the emotion of that day.

Thanks, Mark, for the pics and especially for identifying the subjects - very helpful. As a long time "lurker" I recognize the forum names but have not always been able to identify the actual person's name even though I've met a lot of them in the past.

So much happened behind the scenes, Wayne had his hand in so many things. So many out of staters who just came no matter what...what an example. My various wingmen, like griff and Lumberg...just doing stuff to help or encourage this man from Wheaton, now TR.
There is a lot of love in this picture. There's also a lot just outside the viewfinder...

Not sure where to put this, but three couples representing Greenville, SC FJRIDERS had dinner with Maralee tonight. Just to remind her that she is important, and that she has friends nearby. I bought her dinner as my Christmas present to my buddy Duane.
Though our numbers were down because of some illnesses that popped up, we had a great time with those attending:
Maralee
Tommy and Kay
Joe and Jeannie
Mark and Louanne.
Joe took a great photo at the Remembrance Ride in April. He printed it and framed it. What a guy. We gave it to Maralee tonight.
It was a great evening.

You know, just getting together for dinner was the initial thought. But Joe/Blueridgerider took such an awesome shot that has so much symbolism in it of FJR friends being around, that I thought "what if". Joe took it the rest of the way. Kudos to him! Put the gold star on the whole evening.
It was a great evening.
I watched Wayne's drone video again. Once you and I turned the bikes around to park and saw that whole procession of headlights slowly headed up that long driveway, I lost all composure. It took awhile for that to pass. To this day I do not remember what I said at that remembrance. I had a couple jotted down notes, had a toast, played a tune, and Wayne presented the gift.
I will always miss the guffaws from that man when I'd do something "stupid".

Whether you remember what you said or not I am sure everyone that was there remembers a heartfelt remembrance of a dear friend who encompassed the collective feeling of loss and celebration of having known Duane. I know I do.
