I wasn't gonna weigh in on another tire thread, but I will...... my experiences......
Angel ST is slightly softer compound than the GT, just might not get big mileage out of them. I'd say similar to a Pirelli Diablo Rossi, which I have on the back of the VFR as I wanted more grip and don't ride that bike very much. By comparison, sport bike tires are even softer.
PR4 rear for me is the one I judge others by, the ideal blend of grip and wear, quite confidence inspiring. Side walls not very stiff, some complained of squirmy, but keep the rear pressure up to 42+ and they work fine. Not a fan of the front (tread pattern) I've always used another brand front with them.. Just too much money these days, so I've been trying different tires.... RS3, Angel GT, and Shinko Raven. Again, I'm after a good compromise blend of grip and mileage, don't need/want the longest lasting tire.
The RS3 is a harder compound, some reported slipping out if damp and cold, push them in summer no problem. I thought they wore reasonably uniformly and seemed to last a bit longer than the Michelins. I had a wee mental block pushing them too hard after half worn.
Others have raved about the Angel GT's, they're good tires, last about as long as the PR4's, reasonably even wear. I don't rave about them, they're perfectly OK. All you can do is try them.
Bridgestone anything has stiffest sidewalls. T32's came on my Versys, half worn and flat because I don't think the PO knew how to lean much. I opted not to use them..... maybe someday I'll try a set. I don't think there's much wrong with them.
I had a set of Shinko Ravens on the Honda CBF, newly installed by PO right before I bought the bike. Ran the snot out of them, but that bike went where you pointed it. The front will last forever (more than an RS3) and doesn't seem to have any grip issues. I installed one on the front of the VFR, ran WV last EOM rather aggressively, no issue at all. Rear wear was similar to a PR4, good in the cool wet and wore evenly. I have a brand new one (rear) on the Versys, haven't gone anywhere but I'll give a review once I wear it out. Avon Spirit on the front.
I know what Wheatie felt like...... ever tried to install a tire with a torn rotator cuff? Yep, fun....... BTW, lube the center valley of the wheel also... it does help. Love my tar warmers too.
