Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - Fund Raising Effort
I'd like to think I know a bear when I see one.... from the right angle. Not the angle I see on the tumbler.

Grizzlies appear rounded, Black bears appear more pointed.

Grizzly or Black bear, the last thing I'd notice is whether they had Vulcan ears or not...

Ummm... Could I ask for a logo'd 8oz stainless steel hip flask? And, damn, would it be amazing if we could do forum handles on there as well.
Oh, and I'll take a blue one.

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - Fund Raising Effort
As stated before, I'm in for one...however, I haven't seen any sort of list yet from Wayne of what sizes are available in what colors. All I am seeing are comments regarding what individuals are wanting. I checked Post #1 and I don't think I missed anything.
Are all sizes available in all colors? Or is there a run being made and availability is based on first come, first serve until supply is out?

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - Fund Raising Effort
Update on size, color, quantity.
Based on response to this thread, I placed 2 orders from RTIC. The initial order was for the 4 tumblers you see in the image above - the pilot group. Those were the test for Festus to run so we could see how they looked and to ensure there were no issues with the finish / material being processed by his equipment. Based on the image, the pilot group was successful.
I placed a second order with RTIC for an additional 20 tumblers of various sizes and colors based on what was in stock at the time of the order. I selected colors that were most closely related to FJR colors, which included Graphite, Black, Blue, Red. There were some variation in the Blue color (lake blue, navy blue). That order is in route to Festus still.
Once Festus has the second order in hand and completed, I'll most likely have them shipped to me. From there I will post actual pictures and list the size / quantity available. The easiest way for me to make them available at that point will be to list them in the store and it be a first come, first serve basis. If I follow that path, I have to consider how many texts, pm's, and emails I'll get from the group because they weren't happy with how I did it. I could start a fresh topic with a list of available sizes / cups and take orders based on who posts first there. that option also brings the texts, pm's, etc. So, no 100% best way to do it.
I need to sell more than half of these to break even on what I have spent out of pocket to get the project rolling. I'll net about $250 towards forum costs if all of these sell. I'm working on that final sell price now - balancing total cost vs profit. Right now, $22-$25 per Tumbler is the ballpark.
Shipping. I've played with USPS and UPS shipping rates. Cost is about $12 to $16 each to ship to San Diego. I use San Diego as it provides a good gauge for what the max cost would be. Amazingly, UPS is almost a better deal as it provides tracking and insurance. The other option is to take orders with delivery at EOM in Flatwoods. Which means I have to get them there, but it's doable.
In the event that this first batch sells out instantly and there is more demand, we can look at a second wave that will only be available at EOM for pickup.
All that to say - Mark - you didn't miss anything. I appreciate those who have posted and said they would take one - that interest is why I made the commitment to the project by making the purchase up front for this initial run; please note that I've already purchased what I purchased, and can't guarantee a specific size or color to any single individual at this point. That's my disclaimer.
I will work on getting a list published that shows what I purchased and what is available. Sorry, I get first pick. Actually, I got second pick because Festus got first pick. IN this project, Festus is "The Man" - he is donating his time and resources to do the engraving / etching. Without him, none of this would be possible.
Thank you, Festus!
Wayne

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - Fund Raising Effort
They look fantastic. Better than anything you currently own. I suggest you toss out any cups you currently have and buy several of these. You need 1 for work, 1 for the garage, 1 for watching TV, 1 for gatherings, 1 for your car.
Some of your lemonheads will lose them, so if you have at least 2, then it's not an issue, you just pull from your reserves. Remember, 2 is 1, and 1 is none.
Buy more.
On a side note, I'm happy to be able to help with this project. I hope it raises good money for Wayne.

Re: FJRiders Logo Tumblers - Fund Raising Effort
Quick update.
I went through posts above and listed everyone in order of response. I've reached out to most - just waiting on Joe to take a time out from 'vacation' and respond.
Once I have Joe's option filled in, I'll be able to list what is left that is available.
There is no navy blue available in the 20oz. The closest is "lake blue", which appears to be a little lighter shade of blue.
