I'm poised for an early launch in the morning to try and get over Snoqualmie Pass and across Washington before the next storm gets here. I'm shooting to get at least as far as Spokane tomorrow and possibly as far as Missoula MT. It just depends upon the road and the weather. Maybe Pterodactyl's on Friday and hopefully home on Saturday but dead may interfere.

Between George and Bryan I've got a new rear tire and an oil change.

This should be interesting! JSNS
Damn, I hope Dead doesn't interfere either.

I' d offer ya place to stay in Spokane but I am in Texas. Getting over Lookout Pass to Missoula will be an adventure today with the air temp 25° at 8:30 MST this morning. Hopefully it warms up.

Take time getting home we like you just the way you are!

A cool to cold, but dry ride on I-90 and MT 200 today from Bremerton WA to Helena MT. Just under 600 miles. I left Bremerton at 0430 and arrived at Pterodactyl’s at 1630. 11 hours. The Low temperature was 31F going over Snoqualmie Pass. Hi temperature was 54 as I approached Flesher Pass just North of Helena. There is a Winter storm warning in effect here through Friday afternoon so I may be stuck until Saturday morning. I've put over 5,500 miles on my new bike since April 10th when I left Phoenix for the Copper Canyon.

As John still slumbers on this fine Spring morning, I’m watching a mix of rain and snow gently cascading around the house. The MT511 website shows slushy road conditions on his routes home. Guess he’ll just have to stay and help paint the great room.

I believe he will say he is experienced at supervising those who supervise paint crews.

Ahhh, he's an old Navy man and knows how to go "up-down-up" repeatedly...so just attach a piece of wood to that and some paint bristles and he will do what comes naturally for a seasoned veteran.

So you've heard the story...guy is checking his phone when he gets a text from his neighbor saying "I am feeling very guilty so I have to confess, for the last 2 years I've been tapping your wife". Being a volatile guy to begin with and now totally distraught he grabs his shotgun, runs upstairs and blows away the unfaithful bitch. Sitting there head in hands he gets another text. "Sorry meant to say tapping your WiFi. Dammed Autocorrect "! Barump bump.

A wintry mix kept me Pterodactyl’s in Helena today. Should make it home to Spearfish tomorrow. A fresh bottle of Jamesons Black Barrel will help us to ease the pain today!

Home after a 5,203-mile Odyssey that commenced in Phoenix on April 10th and ended today at 3:00 pm when I rolled into my garage in Spearfish. Along the way, I saw the Copper Canyon in Mexico, I encountered Montezuma and suffered his revenge, and met up with old shipmates from the USS Joseph Strauss (DDG-16) from 40 years ago at a little Wardroom get-together in Bremerton WA. I successfully avoided several snowstorms and saw temperatures from a low of 28F this morning to 96F in Mexico.
