Pants, I completely agree with everything you said, including the red color! I even bought an r3 to ride in town and shorter local rides but I still prefer the FJR in all situations. It was fun on the r3 in Yosemite work you and Cav but the FJR would have been better. There's a reason why we own what we own - it's a difficult bike to beat and that red color...
