Hud I can say definitely in my case at least that the mid sized CB will not do much for your hands
Of course mine was clear though not that cool looking smoked one
<edit: I do have MV risers, maybe that makes a difference>

It has been rumored that this paint color is mixed from strawberry lip gloss, rose petals, and the covers of Harlequin Romance novels. The paint booth has a constant mix tape of Liberace, George Michael and Elton John music playing softly in the background.

'15 FJR, Liquid Graphite. This paint gets its unique color from Military Rifle powder, buffalo horns, Huey helicopter blades, and USMC uniforms. The metallic additive is made from ground up .45 ACP cases. The paint booth has old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies playing on big screen TVs and the painters are all listening to ZZTop while they paint.

'16 FJR, Cobalt Blue. Otherwise known as Ballsack Blue. You can figure this one out for yourselves.

Hugs and kisses to all of you.
Even though I disagree with your thesis, I must commend you for your effort and creativity. :D

Same here

but I'll correct you on '13FJR, the mythological God Zeus created the Stone Gray color and sorry, but the '15FJR color was based off a goat turd from Zimbabwe.

Ahhh, the old tipover at the gas station. Amazing how much that can cost you. Mine cost me about $105.

Don't know which would be worse, finishing an LD trip missing a mirror or the shield. I'd probably have to go with shield but it sure did let me know how many times I actually check the mirrors though. I do it more often than I realized.

New shield looks great on the mudflap gray bike.

A couple pics of the 21 inch Cee Bailey in the fully down position:

My impressions so far:

It moves the bike around a bit in the wind. Not bad but still irritating.

It did not move the wind as high above my head as I thought it would. With the shield down all the way, the wind hits my helmet just above the visor.

It really blocks the wind off my front paws. These shields are wider at the bottom than the stock shield but in cold weather I would raise the Sport Shield which would move that wider part too high to block the wind on my hands. This shield can remain down so it continues to block that wind. I was feeling around for the edge of that wind, it hits at the very outside end of the grips.

It does not look as good on the bike as the Sport Shield. It really feels tall from the saddle. I can still look over it unless it is all the way up.

Cruise control is not all bad. Cav47 told me that he can polish his fingernails while riding his Gen3 with the Cruise Control set. That has to count for something.

Those of you that do not have cruise simply do not know what you are missing. I know I usually do not say things that brazen or bold about anyone else's bike decisions---but is is the best! I have been without it a couple of times due to electrical issues on the 04. Once in the desert of Nevada and it was awful!

Don't knock it until you try it. It really means nothing when you don't have long interstate hauls, but living in Illinois, interstates are a necessary punishment at times.

It also has saved me some performance award interactions on smaller highways. Setting it on a non ticket speed was crucial.

And no, I don't paint my nails then. Or ever for that matter. Can't paint with gloves on.
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!

GAWD, I hate it when you are right. Honestly, I think it would be bad ass to get CC. I'd install an after market, but I'm afraid I'd f@$k it up and end up super pissed. One of these days. It sure would make the long drones on the freeway to get the heck out of here nicer.
