If you are talking about the campground in Spearfish, the tent camping area is open with no assigned sites. Keep in mind that there is no electric available in the tent area. They also do not allow tents on the RV sites. That is the reason we bailed on camping there. Gary needs electric.

Great…Canada Border Services Agents will be going on strike this afternoon. If the strike isn’t settled by my departure date it could mean a delay getting back into Canada…hopefully they settle before the 19th.
They are essential workers and cannot walk off the job or work to rule. Officially.
But they can ask all questions and send everybody through secondary causing huge delays. I'm guessing the mp's will get an ear full and it'll be settled in a big hurry.

First hand experience at Fort Erie today...... normally takes 30 seconds.... he asked more questions than normal, just making conversation and wasting time.... took a whole minute. If the lineups are long, then that will add up.... no worries.
Keep yer stick on the ice........... (Red Green)
Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.
Enough of the border crossing talk troubles, can’t you just find a road no one is watching? * that’s sarcasm in case you are unsure.
What I really want to know is who is riding dirt and when are you getting there?
Also, who else is camping? I am gonna be on the 450 and it doesn’t do real well ripping high speed sweepers. I will have the truck for restaurant runs or anything where a vehicle is needed.
I want to ride the BDR-X from Spearfish and then either head over to Wyoming and ride as much of that BDR as snow levels allow. Or ride Wyoming first and then come back to Spearfish and ride the loop from there.
I just can’t see conveniently putting both bikes in the back of the Tacoma. I am sure I can make them fit and the 1K lbs combined is under the payload limit, but it’s just too far for that much weight. So that idea is flickering.
Are Abercrombie and I the only ones gonna be getting dirty?
I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!
I'll be crossing at the international bridge in S.S.M. the border itself usually isn't to busy, it's the perpetual maintenance of the two bridges over the locks.

Dammit. The Hordes descend into the Abyss.
Canadians are never “hordes”..we travel individually, in style.
One by one or a hundert at a time, it don't matter. Lol.
Bob, have a great time on your trip...sincerely. I'm wishing you well in spite of the Roundel now branded on your backside. I understand the move. Even mighty petey moved to that brand, though he held off for decades. I wish I could meet you in person and share a beverage with you, but this will have to do.
