Mine got delivered this morning with the same 2024 date issue. I went to Lulu's website to review the layout for the standard calendar and it looks like they have it corrected now. I think I'm just gonna reorder one.

In reality, you could just print 12 new calendars single pages and put them in the binder and just have them lay over top of the bad pages. When you flip to the next month, you just flip 2 pages up instead of 1.

This is on me. Tim asked me to proof read the submittal, and I totally missed this.

The date issue has been corrected on the order site.
We know that 22 calendars were ordered, and I have PM's that account for 14 of them.
Working on options to provide replacements - we appreciate your patience with this.
Wayne.

Sounds like you got a plan..... however, Madmudder and I had a wee discussion.... about future calendar stuff.......
First off, I don't need a calendar, but the pitchers are nice. Second, the calendars ain't cheap and we don't know the percentage going to FJRiders... I'll just toss out a number like $10-ish, and we'll say we'd rather just give a donation of $20 to FJRiders, still cheaper than a $30 calendar I won't likely use.. We could still collect photos for a slide show, say 24 pitchers every year.. we could pay $20 and get the slide show to use as a screensaver er whatever you want to use it for.....
Got any better ideers, let's talk....

You can remit payment for this egregious error to my paypal.... wouldn't want you to have any lingering feelings of guilt or anything.

I agree 100%. Pretty sure 99% of people use the calendar on their phone, and not a paper one, other than my ex-wife. A slide show would be awesome and allow the enjoyment of the best photos from all the inmate's travels in any way you chose.

We will explore options next year - maybe a donation and locked PDF of the images; more puzzles for me to solve in the storefront. The calendar project covers approximately 1/3 of the annual operating costs.
I do plan to share details and solicite donations later in the month for those who feel inclined to support the effort. I want to keep the site ad free (and clutter free). I'm also exploring options for photo hosting on a separate account as well.
I will be working on a zero to low cost option to replace print errors - more on that the first of next week.
Again, thank you for your patience.

OK I want to clarify a few things and explain why this is my error and not Lulu's.
1) I select the start dates of the 12 month calendar. I can select a start month of anytime, so if we wanted to have a calendar start in January 1776, we could do that. The default selection is whatever month you're creating the calendar in (December 2024). So I apparently changed the correct start month, but not the year. My error.
2) I asked Lulu about the improper cutting. The reality is that my images are outside their safety margins. I cut it too close trying to keep the focus on the actual photos as much as possible. They have provided me with updated guidelines for what should be safe margins for page bleed so that is what I'll use going forward.
3) Despite it not being their fault, Lulu has offered to work with me on a discounted price for replacement calendars. I would love to write a check and make this go away, but that would more than wipe out all of the funds raised and negate the entire point of the fundraiser in the first place. So I'm afraid the only thing I'll be able to offer is a discounted price on a replacement and a heartfelt apology. If that's something you're interested in, send me a PM.
4) I do accept full responsibility for the errors, however, each calendar purchase page does have a Preview button. I do my best, but this wasn't my first mistake and it likely won't be my last. Please use that preview to verify you're getting what you should or alert me of any errors before purchasing so I can rectify them before it is too late.
While I understand that the inclination is to blame the publisher, please do not. I have fixed the date issues so future orders will be fixed. I would like to continue using Lulu for future calendars, assuming you guys are still willing to put up with me next year.
The calendar works because there is an annual renewal of interest. I never look at the actual calendar potion (clearly!), but it's a socially acceptable way to have posters of the motorcycles in my office. For those who do not want a calendar, please consider donating instead. That's the simplest route. Wayne had a method of doing that before, but I don't recall where. I'm not against finding different products or ways to raise funds, but a digital release sounds like a bigger headache as I really don't want to get into tech supporting something like that. The artwork is posted here
https://www.fjriders.com/2025-calendar-gallery/ Do with that as you'd like and if you feel that is worth something, consider donating. That's ultimately why I put the effort in.
I would rather not plug up the calendar thread with "why people don't want a calendar" posts. Feel free to start another thread or PM me about ideas.
Anyway, I hope that helps clear things up . Thanks for understanding.

I bought one of the calendars to leave at my friend’s house. He is a big Harley guy so I like to leave fjr coasters, pictures, yamaha stuff laying around his place. I figured the calendar would be perfect..take his Harley one down when he is not looking and put that one up. It probably wouldnt have been noticed until his Harley friends come over. Do I need one…nope..but listening to him complain later would have been priceless. Just a straight fundraiser is way more logical but I can find a use for almost anything. So whatever you guys decide I am ok with. Injust appreciate the knowledge that is shared.

Please don't use funds to send me a replacement calendar.
I will look forward to the next opportunity to razz Wayne and donate funds.

Thanks for the open and honest response Tim-Dog. As far as I am concerned, I can live with the calendar as is. I know what year and day it is. Thanks for all you do. If it was that important to me I would just go order another one.

Can you remind me where the link is to donate? I think it's through the storefront but can't remember... getting old sucks.

I appreciate all the efforts Tim and Wayne have put into the calendar itself and trying to resolve this issue. Harsh reality is that every one of us on this forum screws up sometimes. At this point I consider it a learning experience and will be ordering another calendar to replace this one.
I actually do use mine for at work. All of my coworkers hear me talk about you folks and the things we all do for each other. I talk about tech days, SEO and EOM. The calendar allows me to show them your bikes and places you've visited. I have every one of my old calendars saved. The day will come when I may no longer be able to ride but these pictures and the memories they stir in me will be with me forever.

I’m good with printing my own updated calendar pages. Can you post those files? I don’t need replacements either.
