We had 15C/55F day before yesterday but a bit damp. Yesterday 5C/42F, overcast. Took the ManStrom for a spin to pick up a letter in the A-Z game we play in another sandbox... rode to a second destination to pick up a tag for the Tag game in said same sandbox.

I've got one (maybe two) day rides left in the FJR tires. I've got a set of take-offs and a new set sitting on the shop floor. No longer trips planned until February, so me thinks I'll just throw on the take offs.

Good warming weather forecast this week. I'll scrub off what's left on the bike first....

Ordered a used 2014-2015 ECU form ebay to put in my 2013 to change the cruise control limit and nothing else. Got it for a reasonable price after a couple back-n-forth offers with the seller. Not a fan of Ivan's flash, don't bother bringing it up.

Rode the 2013 to work this morning. Got the Clearwater lights installed last night after a serious brain fart hooking up the wiring harness.

If you didn't let the smoke out, it wasn't a serious brain fart.

No smoke was released during the installation. I will say anyone asking me for help on electrical stuff will be shocked to learn how bad I am at it.....

I see what you did there....

I guess Clearwater shipped the wrong harness with my Darlas, the highbeam to 100% bright didn't work. Received the replacement harness and works ok. Now to find room for all the wires and get the bike together again.

That is a LOT of wiring to hide I agree. I may end up pulling dash panels back off later and revisiting just how I secured it as I'm not completely happy with what I did but......they're on and working so that's a plus.
