“DS” has many meanings. Sometimes it means Dual sport, sometimes it stands for Dark Side. And in other instances it means Dip Shit.
Thanks. I originally read the post to say Dual Sport. Seemed out of place but not enough to search for another meaning.

Routine maintenance stuff. Replaced engine oil & filter, final drive oil, front & rear brake fluids, and clutch brake fluid.
Also tried the sealmate thing again on my right fork. It helped a little last time, maybe it'll help a little more. And I was collecting some goop in the radiator from the right fork oozing so I sprayed some foaming air conditioner coil cleaner & gently rinsed out. Mucho gooder!
Got too hot to do more but I feel good about what I accomplished
.
Thurs the 14th I headed out- Mt Airy, NC for lunch, Overnight in Lewisburg, WV. Took all day to ride between the two. Next was 2 nights in Cleveland, OH to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday. Sunday I rode US250 from West Philly, OH all the way to Staunton, VA. Monday night was Virginia Beach for seafood and Tues home via Knotts Island ferry. Frikkin excellent trip! Thought I saw an FJR in a group at US250 and US220 intersection in Monterey, VA. Anyone here?
1617 miles at 48-ish mpg.

Started preps for next weekend. Thursday taking a longer way from central NC around Charlotte to the north to end up near Greenville, SC. Visit with family on Friday and hooligans on Saturday. Sunday leisurely riding to the SC coast for fresh seafood. Home Monday. Not a long trip but thankful to get away from work and falling leaves in the yard.

I'm not sure what hooligans yer riding with on Saturday lol. The ride out of Travelers Rest is fairly tame...on purpose. It is mainly a gathering of friends and food, and a visit to JWilly's high place on the BRP. Sure, there's some fun on 178/215, but pretty laid back...on purpose. I don't have a truck or trailer or sparklefarts or...

Over the weekend I installed a "new to me" Aeroflow tall windscreen in place of the Cee Bailey unit I've been using sine buying my 2014. Rode it to work this morning. I will say this new screen is less scratched up than my old one......Verdict is still out on which screen I prefer. The Aeroflow is supposed to be their tall but it's about an inch or two shorter than the Cee Bailey medium I've been using.

Waxed it. I don't remember the lower parts of the fairing being so hard to reach.
I don't remember it being so hard to get off of a cement floor.
But it does look sharp!

Can't we turn him into the Marine's or something? There's no way THEY taught him to keep your tools in that condition
